Inbound Columbia Parkway down to one lane for Friday rush hour

Inbound Columbia Parkway down to one lane for Friday rush hour

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - The westbound curb lanes of Columbia Parkway between Martin Drive and the Third St./Fort Washington Way exit ramp are closed and will remain closed for morning rush hour on Friday.

As crews were cleaning up and ready to open Columbia Parkway after removing an unstable portion of the hillside that began moving earlier this week, the remaining hillside also began moving.  Engineers decided for the safety of the traveling public to put the lane closure back in place until the hillside can be stabilized again.  Crews will mobilize early Friday and begin work on removing the remaining unstable dirt.

Columbia Parkway is reduced down to one lane, between Martin Street and the Third Street exit.  All exit and entrance ramps will remain open at all times.  Drivers are encouraged to reduce their speed and use caution when approaching the closure area.

Kellogg Avenue reopens after rain damage repairs

ANDERSON TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - The Hamilton County Engineer's Office has just reopened all lanes of Kellogg Avenue between Four Mile and Five Mile Roads, after reconstruction that lasted more than three weeks.

On June 27, the road was shut down on an emergency basis because it was starting to crumble after the persistent heavy rains of late spring.  One lane on each side of the road was opened on July 6th.

That stretch of road serves as a way to reach Riverbend, Coney Island, and River Downs from the east.
