ANDERSON TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19)- The Anthony Munoz Foundation teamed up with a local high school to help out a couple of its students.
Have you ever heard of donkey basketball? Students at Anderson High School probably hadn't either until they played in the 'Donkey Basketball Fundraiser'.
The event was to help the Malling Family, with two boys who have been diagnosed with Palizaeus - Merzbacker Disease, a rare and progressive condition that attacks the central nervous system.
In addition, their father was also recently diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease.
Both of the boys attend Anderson High School.
The event was part of the students' service challenge project, a program assigned to schools who attend the Munoz Foundation Youth Leadership Seminar.
