Metro employees bearing gifts visit Anderson Thursday
ANDERSON TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - Morning commuters at the Anderson Center Station park & ride will start their day being greeted by Metro employees with prizes before they board their buses.
This summer, Metro representatives are making six stops at park & rides throughout Cincinnati in addition to dozens of community events to raise the awareness of the cost savings commuters can realize by riding Metro instead of driving for their daily commute.
At the Thursday morning visit, Metro will award prizes, share bus information with new customers and long-time bus riders, and provide everyone with the chance to enter Metro’s “Money Grab” contest with a grand prize worth up to $4,500 cash, provided by Cricket Wireless. Entries can also be submitted at www.go-metro.com. No public or Metro funds are being used for the Money Grab.
In June 2011, overall Metro ridership on express routes were up 7.3 percent compared to June 2010.
